Arrive Early at the Spanish Market!
Although there are many artist and craftspeople displaying their handiwork at the Spanish Market, if you want first choice you have to arrive early! We arrived at noon on the opening day and discovered that many items in all categories were already sold, including this beautiful wood cabinet.

that is BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteThe same thing happens at the Hear Museum's Spanish Market and Indian Market in Phoenix.
ReplyDeleteDon't know what I did but this post was subscribed to appear on August 2nd! Enjoy it , tho since it is timely!!
ReplyDeleteHow fabulous is that!
ReplyDeleteSold is a good thing. I like the workings on the cabinet.
ReplyDeleteVery attractive!
ReplyDeleteI think there are a lot of deep pockets in Santa Fe...certainly more than here!
ReplyDeleteI guess it showed up on the right date...and sold again! Hate when that happens!
ReplyDeleteI would have bought that cabinet. Well, depending on the price! Love all things wood. Word is out on the streets of Ocala that y'all have hied yerselves to the northland.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I am now back in St. Paul altho I'll be posting about a week more on the Santa Fe blog. I am VERY sad to have left, and would love to move there but marriages require compromises!
DeleteBoth your shots of the Spanish Market and Randy's make me be sure I would love to spend some time there.
ReplyDeleteThe early bird.....
ReplyDeleteThose in the know are clearly early birds. But I suppose it saved you a little cash. . .and the complication of trying to get something wonderful back home. Next time I'll bet you set an alarm clock!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful thing for the artists!
ReplyDeleteNext year Kate :)
ReplyDeleteI love that cabinet.
