We're on our way to Santa Fe and rented this sweet little apartment close to the Plaza. It'll be our home for two months, arriving on the 1st of February (or thereabouts).
A most inspiring abode from which to absorb oneself into the culture and pace of the Southwest culture.
I am most curious about the B&W photo prints on the wall. Is the center one perhaps a print of the Lajitas Trading Post taken by W.D. Smithers in the 1900's? One of my favorite photographers of early day Big Bend of Texas.
Oh excitement Kate.. you love Santa Fe don't you! What a gorgeous apartment, looks fab inside and out, designed to keep cool I'm guessing? Looking forward to a few months of Santa Fe images.
At last you must have real nice weather the coming two months. Have a nice stay.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'll be darned! They even have a picture of you above the fireplace....
ReplyDeleteWishing you safe travels and a big welcome back to New Mexico!
ReplyDeleteAha. Sweet is right. About time you got out of Minneesota! Es su casa, mi casa?
ReplyDeleteOf course, Lowell!!
DeleteIt looks very nice. I look forward to your pictures from there.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I'm a wee bit jealous ... have a wonderful time! :)
ReplyDeleteYou finally escaped from the deep freeze!!! Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThe perfect way to escape this winter!
