Pippin Gallery

I have a friend back in Minnesota whose last name is Pippin.  The next time that I am on Canyon Road and if the gallery is open, I need to find out if my friend and the owner are related.

  2. They are playful sculptures, but I am afraid that I can't think of a place to put them.

  3. Buy your friend a Pippin t-shirt if they have them.

  4. Festive sculptures in bright colors. Reminds me of curled ribbon.

  5. We walked up Canyon Road on a snowy New Years Day the last time we were in Santa Fe. Even on a holiday all the outdoor sculpture was still plenty and wonderful. (And all I can think of is "The Hobbit" when I read the name "Pippin.")

  6. That is exciting to find out if they are related? That is nice you are reading the book about Amsterdam. I didn't read it, but Amsterdam has a long story of tolerance for other people and revugies. Helas that is changing recently under influences of stupid people with wrong thoughts about other people. It makes me very angry, the Dutch have never been like that.

  8. The colours are very bright and bold.

I'm reminded of a hobbit nicknamed Pippin when I see that sign.

  10. I hope that you will be able to show us around inside. We also have friends in Colorado with that name...they were part of the group that hung out with us in Arizona last year.

  12. Bet they are Kate! I also thought of the ribbon dancing that I've watched in the Olympics.
