One of my favorite shops in the Plaza is The Rainbow Man on Palace. In the back of the shop, the Curtis Room displays many Curtis photographs as well as old Native American and Pendleton blankets. Not to be missed! If I lived here year round I'd lobby to volunteer at this amazing store.

I remember Pendleton shirts as a kid living in Minnesota...they were excellent but somewhat expensive. Have not heard of these pendleton blankets but I'll bet they'll keep you warm!
ReplyDeletemmmm...craving the shopping, eating, sights of SF.
ReplyDeleteThese are so quintessentially Santa Fe! These images will make you happy when you are back in Minnesota.
ReplyDeleteThey have some beautiful handmade goods!
ReplyDeleteLove, love the chickens from yesterday's posting, Great Kate!
Not only handsome but warm and practical. We have two Pendleton blankets which we love!
ReplyDeleteNice patterns on these!
Nothing beats a Pendleton blanket! Well, maybe a Pendleton Jacket or Skirt would be nice too.
ReplyDeleteI love everything about these blankets, color, pattern, everything. I will remember to go in next time we are there.
ReplyDeleteOh so beautiful...
ReplyDeleteNative patterns are gorgeous! As long as rugs and blankets are not too big, they are easy to carry in your travel bag, that's why I have a small collection from countries I've visited. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat colors, great patterns. Drive safely, Kate.
ReplyDeleteLove these blankets - will have to google Pendleton blankets though!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as they are, those Pendleton blankets are not priced for impulse buys. . .at least not from my purse!
