Sundays definitely should be days of rest. Go to the Chocolate Maven on San Mateo and treat yourself to some nummy breakfast rolls or a delicious dinner dessert.
I'm not a 'sweet guy' but I did submit myself to a sugary donut on a trip for groceries this AM. They are quite far in-between, really. These are tempting though.
Sunday mornings are definitely the best time for indulgent breakfasts. Saturdays are still too busy. When i was young, my late father used to make pancakes for my brother and me every Sunday morning. We used to enjoy finding fault with the pancakes, until he said he would not make them any more, and we had to beg him to resume the practice.
The only way I can tolerate these shots is knowing I made a lemon olive oil cake today...not as gorgeous, but entirely satisfying enough to satisfy a sweet tooth.
Kate, I post my photos at a smaller resolution to allow them to load fast. Sorry, no enlarging! What you see just to the left of the little house is a grain silo in the distance at a lower elevation. We have them here, too, and I hope we never lose them! All of this is in walking distance of Walmart, Home Depot, Office Depot, and Petco. (And I stopped here because there was a pair of bald eagles in a nearby tree...I'll post them some other time.)
How could you? That is so cruel! :-) Now I'm craving a cinnamon roll!
ReplyDeleteCinnamon rolls are one of my guilty pleasures.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to eat healthy...but if I could just have the gooey center of that cinnamon roll on the left.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
Those mouth watering treats are just too much for me.
ReplyDeleteyou are mean. :)
