Talented Woman

Coral is a woman of many talents. She is a vendor selling her yarn and apparel at the Santa Fe Saturday Farmers Market. Coral has travelled widely and settled in Santa Fe in 1977. She is one of the original founders of the Wool Festival in Taos, New Mexico which occurs on the first week-end in October. Originally from Connecticut, she plans to move to Maine shortly, and her daughter and 3 grandchildren might follow her. A practicing Buddhist, Cora and I had some common interests to share.

  2. She looks like a very warm, sweet person. Can't imagine why anyone would move to Maine unless they had to do so! :)

  3. She's a long time Santa Fe resident for sure. Did you happen to mention to her how cold it gets in Maine?

  4. I'm wondering why she is moving to Maine after so many years in Santa Fe. That picture of the beautiful colors of yarn is gorgeous. Another new friend for you!

  6. She has a warm, kind face. Lovely portrait.

Quite a difference in winters between Santa Fe and Maine!

  7. If her yarn colors are any indication of her personality, she looks interesting and lively. But then, her portrait says a lot, too. Another nice one!

  8. I suspect that your portrait captured a lot that is both visible and invisible about her personality.

  9. Sounds like maybe she is returning to her roots? That has a familiar ring to me. Love that you are introducing us to folks you find along the way...Janey
