Light dusting of snow
Greets us after our travels
Earth wants the moisture
When we arrived last Monday, we knew it would not be Florida weather, but lots warmer than Minnesota. When we awoke the next morning. . .Surprise! Our friends claim that we brought this weather with us. It will warm up soon so we don't mind at all. We have a mountain view from our condo, even the snow covered power lines reflect the weather. As soon as I learn photocopy, I'll be able to take care of that!
Nice surprise and glad it doesn't stay long!
ReplyDeleteI thought about you when Randy posted a snow photo earlier this week. Enjoy that view!
ReplyDeleteWe once woke up to a dusting of snow in Santa Fe, so I quickly grabbed my camera and ran around downtown to take photos.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds as though the west needs all the moisture it can get. Glad you took that stuff with you from Minnesota! Pretty pics!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the view with the snow. Warmer days are on the way.
ReplyDeleteWe were told that we would have one to three inches of snow this morning but we have none. Not even a drop of rain.
love the coyote fence!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics to start your stay and kick off the NM wanderings!
ReplyDeleteI guess the weather gods want you to feel right at home, unfortunately. But, as Lowell notes, we can use the moisture.
ReplyDeleteWe have a dusting here in Ft.Worth, Texas. I too am ready for some warm sunshine....
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely, Kate!
ReplyDeleteA light dusting is all I want. Good matching haiku! ;)
ReplyDeleteWow! Great snow pictures. Beautiful the mountain view!
ReplyDeleteYour light dusting looks so much prettier than ours did.
