I respect political expression, but it appears that the sticker was manufactured with the intent to have it placed on stop signs. If copied by other movements, this could get out of hand.
I have seen these signs here. I was a vegetarian for over ten years and found that is isn't as easy as I thought it would be. There were times when eating out was a challenge. I still don't eat red meat but I do eat fish and fowl these days.
Lois Anne would like that a lot. It is kinda strange, when you think about it, that we continue to eat our cousins, which all animals are. I've not been able so far to go the whole vegetarian route, though. :(
I don't think we need to eat as much meat as we do, and I'd rather see more humane slaughter than to stop altogether. Having said that, the sign does promote good dialogue as evidenced in these comments.
It is good to be at the top of the food chain. We only eat a few kinds of animals, and they are so tasty. That is one reason I live in "The Beef State."
I like the sign, but it wont make me stop, lol.

ReplyDeleteLooks like the one I shot in the railyard.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid I'm one of those who loves a good burger, a juicy steak, and barbecued chicken!
ReplyDeleteAs long as animals eats other animals this makes no sense.
ReplyDeleteIt does make you think!

ReplyDeleteSTOP signs can be used for many thoughts ... what's next?
ReplyDeleteAfraid that's just wishful thinking on their part. Wonder what it costs the city to clean up their stick on signs?
ReplyDeleteSomeone made a statement by this special sign, ha,ha.
ReplyDeleteI kind of like what Stefan said.
ReplyDeleteah, well...

ReplyDeleteYes, it's vegans up to no good.
ReplyDeleteI think it's good to think about we're doing even if we don't heartily agree. ;)

ReplyDeleteOh, those pesky vegetarians! I saw another approach to stop signs in Seattle this week. I'll have to post it soon.
ReplyDeleteThey are going to have to work a lot harder than that to make me give up meat.
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeleteIt does make one STOP and THINK!
