All of these works by Robert Coyle of Eldorado, New Mexico really appealed to me. I would like to buy one of his masks. On Thursday, I'll introduce you to the artist!
I love the first one Kate, I'm sure I'd find the perfect spot for that one! Kate the red headed beauty in my pics today is my daughter Aimee, you wouldn't believe it to look at her, but she's actually quite shy haha!
I love these! Here is another Eldorado artist that you should go see. http://www.magpiepottery.com/ Todd took a class with her and we make sure to see her at every studio tour and beyond.
These are really nice, Kate. I don't think they would work either in my Connecticut or my Florida home, but I still admire them.
Thanks for mentioning yesterday that my photo stimulated you to re-read a favorite e.e. cummings poem. I would not have made the same connection, but it is a delight to learn that something we put on our blogs triggered a fond memory from a blogger friend. (We are still awaiting a photo of DH in a cowboy hat.)
They are certainly of interest. But I'm wondering what you would do with them if you bought them? Oh, I know, you could scare the bejesus out of the kids in St. Paul on Halloween! :-)
These are excellent. It is a good thing that you will get to make your selection before Julie finds this gallery on a future visit.
ReplyDeleteI love looking at and wearing masks. These are cool.

Unusual and appealing! Will be fun to be introduced to this mask man!
ReplyDeleteI like the second one. Somehow the sad face speaks to me.
