Student from Minnesota
While checking out the Plaza for some interesting photos, I met Zach. Another coincidence; he was visiting from Mounds, Minnesota. He told me that he'll be staying here for a short while because "his lady" moved here and is working at St. Vincent's Hospital Shortly, tho, Zach all be returning to Minnesota to resume his nursing studies at the University of Minnesota- Mankato.

un beau look ,j'aime bien ces lunettes, et il a l'air tres sympa.
ReplyDeleteZac would have been great for your Z Wednesday too Kate, he looks like a nice lad, great smile! The Ranchos Church is amazing, you will definitely have to get the front for us.
ReplyDeleteYou can probably spot the people from Minnesota in a crowd because they wear a lighter jacket than everyone else.
ReplyDeleteYou will probably like Jarart's Prescott Area Daily Photo post today.
Your cute story of your grandson's comment in Hawaii that you left on my site a couple of days ago reminds me of a comment my son made about Hawaii when he was 8 years old. I had just been promoted to partner at my firm, and he asked if that meant I would be making more money. I said yes.
He then asked if that meant we could be going on vacations. He had not been vacation-deprived, so I asked if there is anyplace in particular he wanted to go. He replied "Hawaii." When I asked him why, he said "Because you and mommy went there and did not take us."
We had gone to Hawaii when he was 5 years old. I had no idea he was carrying a grudge for 3 years. I doubt he knew much about Hawaii, other than if he did not get to go there, it must be good.
Did he sing you a song? For some reason I now have After the Lovin song stuck in my head, lol.
ReplyDeletesmall world isn't it?! he looks like a nice guy!
ReplyDeletehee hee...
ReplyDeleteBack to the snows of Minny-so-ta!
Wow! Dead ringer for an early Peter Fonda... where's his bike?
ReplyDeleteA photo friendly face, and you did a wonderful job capturing it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice little break from school he is enjoying.
ReplyDeleteZach is a nice looking young man. I like the shades!
ReplyDeleteMy DH said to let you know that he would never wear a pin on his hat and doesn't know anyone who would put that many on. I bet your DH would look great in a cowboy hat!
Very nice portraits -- and I agree with Birdman that he could pass for a young Peter Fonda. Isn't it funny to run into "locals" when you travel?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a friendly chap. It's a small world I guess. :)
ReplyDeleteI love shots like these. You found an excellent subject.
ReplyDeleteLoving all these young men going into Nursing. It's nice to see!
ReplyDeleteI read on another blog that your DH is declining to get a hat. There is a solution to that. Go get him one you like and give it to him. He'll get used to it.
ReplyDeleteNice portrait of him, Great Kate! He looks like a groovy, stylish lad from the land of 10,000 lakes!
ReplyDeleteIts a small world after all! And I think only you would find another Minnesotan--he looked happy to oblige.
ReplyDeleteBe glad you're missing our COLD.
Happy weekend, Kate.
Ha! Just goes to prove you never know who'll you run into wherever you go.
ReplyDeleteI used to live near Mound. I don't remember Zach. Oh, that's right! He hadn't even been close to born yet! Looks like a nice guy. And we need nice nurses.
