Eectroforming on Ceramics

These pots are a result of  a process of electroforming that allows a heavy layer of metal to be deposited on the ceramic surface without heating it.  Robert Coyle, the artist, experimented and developed the process for his ceramics.

    We have visited that Museum of the Horse, that you mentioned in your comment, about four times. I love the huge horse sculpture outside called "Free Spirits At Noisy Water" and even posted a picture of that on my blog a while back. I hope you have some pictures to share from there.

  8. You can see that these have been inspired by the traditional native designs of the Southwest, with coarser carving and the addition of the metallic details.
