Last Monday 11-year-old Emma was the first person who greeted me when I entered Act II, a consignment shop on Paseo de Peralta. While there I not only made the acquaintance of this gentle, quiet dog, I also found a very nice lightweight jacket which was just perfect for the rainy day. What luck!

Emma is a cute doggie! She looks gentle. Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful portrait of a wonderful old lady. We all want to reach through our computer screens to pat her.
ReplyDeleteOh boy, she looks so much like our Golden! Thanks for the memories.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of Judy's photo from Prescott yesterday. Dogs who their owners bring to stores have great dispositions. So do winery dogs.
ReplyDeleteMy mother-in-law's white boxer could never fill that role. She is way too hyper. I leave this comment in part because I am sure Glenda will be visiting your site later today, and she is very sensitive about whether I am ever critical of her dog. It is OK for her at times to lament the dog's oddities, but of course if someone else, usually me, makes a less-than-complimentary comment, she gets quite defensive. And her dog offers an abundant inventory of personality traits about which she has reason to be defensive.
Is today photograph an animal day or what. They are everywhere; it seems,
ReplyDeleteoh, sweet, sweet girl! my kind of friend!
ReplyDeleteYou can tell just by looking at the photo that this is a very good dog. Drawing in the customers with that sweet face.
