On a snowy wet Sunday morning, in order to get from one end of Cathedral Park to the other, all you had to do was follow the brick PASSAGEWAY down the center.

tres belle photo de ce chemin sous la neige
ReplyDeleteExcellent choice for the theme. When I was in Santa Fe in November and a thin coat of snow came down overnight, so I went out early (while it was still dark) and took some photos, including a photo from this exact spot.
ReplyDeleteThe combination of show and rain makes for an interesting photo.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful light for a snowy scene, the benches and the fountain or monument in the background look superb!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Carraol, the light is amazing in this shot.
ReplyDeleteOh you've surpassed yourself with this one, Kat. Absolutely beautiful. No other words.
ReplyDeleteApologies for lack of comments. I fell and have torn cartilege around the ribs (now strapped up) AND have gastric flu so am feeling sorry for myself. I'll live tho!
Great effect Kate .. also, I like how you captured the falling snow. It appears to be falling heavy enough that your passageway will soon be gone (smile).
ReplyDeletevery beautiful image for theme day. I am glad to see you are in Santa Fe. We just got back from Tanzania Africa so I am a bit behind on catching up with everyone's websites. Thanks for all of your comments. santa Fe is a great place with lots of photo opportunities. Taos and Chimayo are wonderful day trips.
ReplyDeleteWhat, snow? Say it isn't so! It is quite pretty, though.
ReplyDeleteNicely done, Kate. And while the snow is quite beautiful, I think that I'll come by in the summertime to walk your passageway!
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to catch snow falling in a photo and you done it beautifly here and made a lovely picture.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo of the plaza! I so miss this! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLooks so cold, Kate. Fantastic snow scape.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. You almost forget how cold it must be.
ReplyDeleteA fancy, brick passageway for theme day even if it is snowy . . .
ReplyDeleteSpring will come someday!
Great choice, I would want to sit on the bench and enjoy the snowfall before heading down the passageway, but I bet they are coooold.

ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing the passage was cleared!
ReplyDeleteThe contrast of the brick and the snow is lovely.
