Cowgirl Rouge

Because of the color red, this sign in Madrid, NM,  reminded me of two bloggers to whom I wish to dedicate this post today.  This may not be Paris, Vj and Genie, but I suspect you'd have a lot of fun in this former mining town!

  1. That does it, now I have to add Madrid to my ever-growing list of upcoming field trips. Even though we've been there lots of times, it still has plenty of surprises and delights. Thank you for the nudge toward the Turquoise Trail, Kate.

  7. Looks like fun. What is "Cowgirl Red?" A New Mexico wine? Clothing store? Art gallery? Town character?
