A New Mexico Icon


After Georgia O'Keeffe's paintings became widely known and appreciated, this icon definitely is identified with New Mexico.

    This is so interesting - there is no "light" - even in shade, I get some gradients of light. This flat look really complements your subject - love this!

    You're right. We now have a Pavlovian response. Dried cattle skull = O'Keeffe = New Mexico.
